Organizations
TEP is a multi-organization platform. Each organization — for example a county office of education or a school network — has its own users, programs, settings and data. When you sign in, you work within your organization.
Programs
Organizations can offer one or more programs. The program categories covered by this documentation are:
- General Education
- Special Education
- Designated Subject
- Induction
- Information Sessions
Important
Not every program is enabled for every organization. Your organization's administrator decides which programs are available.
User roles
What you see in TEP depends on your role. Common roles include:
- Candidate
- A person enrolled in, or applying to, a preparation or credential program.
- Instructor
- A person who teaches courses within a program.
- Mentor
- A person who supports candidates during their program.
- Field Supervisor
- A person who observes and supports candidates in the field.
- District Lead
- A district representative who coordinates with the organization.
- Administrator
- A person who configures and manages the organization in TEP.
